Pics Of My Direct Port Intake

Let me know what you think.

The intake is out for powder coating right now, and should be back on the car this weekend.

For pricing contact the sales team at NX. They are working some fabulous deals right now. The quality of this stuff exceeds anything I have worked with before. Look for big things from this car come 2003.

You can visit NX on the web at http://www.nitrousexpress.com

What is the P/N for the Direct Port kit you are using? Are those Piranha or Shark Nozzles? Did you upgrade the kit in any way from the standard offering?

Thanks,

Dave.

Nick,

Did you do the line bending work yourself? Now get it on the car and lets see the numbers at the track!

Yeah I hope Mikey does well with that setup. I had to change directions a little bit.

That is the kit as it was shipped to me. They offer a fuel rail upgrade, but I opted to use the distribution blocks instead.

The PN is 90006 it is the 8cyl Pro-Shark Nozzle system although I did upgrade to piranha nozzles. So I guess I did upgrade afterall.

This kit is the cats a$$. Anybody on here will tell you that NX by far makes the best stuff.

I agree w/ NXz28, when I put direct port N20 on my car, it will definitely be the bottom setup at that link on the LT4 intake. That is the cleanest looking direct port I have seen.

Both of them are sweet

I feel so emasculated with my basic NX kit.

I need to get that under the intake stealth system.

hey saywhen, did you bend your own stuff, or did someone do it for you? I want to do that on my big block, because I have about a 2" gap under the intake. Perfect hiding spot for my 200 shot monster... I was just wondering how time consuming it is to bend all that damn tubing?

Cale

All of those setups look great though! I just want a little stealthier approach.

Is the 'under the intake' setup a worthwhile idea? It looks (or should I say doesn't look?) awesome, but is that a bad place for the parts due to heat and oil exposure? Not to mention having to remove the intake to service any of it?
It's a neat concept, though.
