San Diego Group 4-5 cars so far will be meeting at the Rest Stop North of Oceanside at 6AM and leave there at 6:30AM Sharp and cruise up to AppleBee's on Arrow Hwy the 57/210 arriving there at 8AM to meet up with the others and cruise to Super Chev Show.

Justin im rollin the beast over there.....I got it finnished today! DONE DONE DONE!!! Cant wait to get dyno numbers on it....should be real nasty!! Just got back from a drive, runs SOOO hard.

I dont want to say for sure but if ive got no work going on ill show up in the Z.Itll be a stockasarock black thirdgen with a $hitty exhaust rattle.--no club affiliations.Hopefully i can make it, sounds like fun.

F-it... count me in. I'll be in the worst looking black painted Camaro there... However, the engine is just a basic Lt-4 with a Hotcam + Edelbrock Headers and one helluva stereo...

I really need a paintjob!!

Its a great sleeper except for the 13" Baer Trak kit....

Ok, i failed to realize that the meet up was in San Dimas, that is about an hour away from me. I will most likely be driving my 94 T/A to the meet up in that case (if i dont sell it first)...its to far for the Z.....gas would be a killer. Sorry guys. BUT i will be there. Justin, let me know if you want to meet up before heading up there.

Doh....I was telling someone I couldnt wait to see that beast :( Oh well with gas prics they way they are ...I understand....

Last year me and the wife drove both the 01 Z06 and 01 FIREHAWK from San Jose. This year we opted for one car.

Mabey I should just drive my gixxer....I mean atleast then i know i will have the fastest vehicle cruising to the show (or atleast not the slowest for sure!)..... lol. I definitly dont want to be the slowest... and my good ole damn near perfect condition but STOCK trans am would probably be that.... Inputs!!!!????? Have to get it ready for the Suzuki Superbike Challenge race and show at Cal Speedway on sunday anyways.....

Hey Sam....just a questions......what did ya pay for your 408 and whats your combo? Im curious, i still have no dyno numbers on my new engine and am looking forward to getting some..... Should be damn impressive though.

Count me in. Is that the rest stop in the middle of Pendelton, the one between the train station on the right, and just before border check point? I'll be coming from Eastlake.

That is correct.

I guess everyeone was running late. A small group of us made it to applebee's and finally left at 8:45am....

Ive got DV video footage of our small group raising hell on the streets on the way to the show.
I will have my cousin edit it and host it somewhere..1-2weeks....

I was a little dissapointed in the show.. 5-6 4th gen F-Bods.. lots of classics.. but nothing i saw WOW'd me.. Not worth the 22 bucks and 8 bucks for parking.. there is only So much to look at..

Not trying to put a damper on it.. but.. just not what I expected..

It was GREAT meeting everyone, I think the best part was the pre-show GTG and the trip to the Show.. that was fun.

8 of 40 not good.

You SD guys must have left right before the rest of us showed up. My dad and I got there after 9am and we were the last ones. After hanging around for over 30 minutes and nobody making a move to head for the track, we left. :shrug:

We saw your cars in the parking lot and sat next to you in the stands...

Its no wonder they stopped coming to Las Vegas and Phoenix, if they were anything like Pomona. The Manufacturer's Midway was bare. I remember 4 years ago it was full of trailers and parts. I dont understand why since SoCal is the home of drag racing. Not even Edelbrock made the short trip over from Torrance.

We arrived at the Rest Stop at 6AM waited until 6:30AM then we left and arrived at AppleBee's at 7:30AM.

We stayed there until 8:45AM and the people that were there left for the show.


We saw a bunch of f-bodies in the Super Show parking lot when we left

SCS show gets worse each year. entry fee last year was $15 SCS charged more and gave less this year. Boooooo !!!!

Who had that video camera, that was filming on the way to the track????

We just must have missed you guys........We showed right at 8:45 just like last year even though I tried my best to get everyone moving...I knew you would be there early.....

The show was dissappointing mainly just because the Midway has dissappeared!!!!! There were WAY more people showing cars than last year but all my club members were asking" What happened to the Midway??" Its really a shame as the weather was great this year....Im not sure if last years poor attendance due to Nascar the same weekend , scared all the vendors away or what..

One of our club members got a PHAT hookup form one of the Global West Engineers that was at the show. He got coilovers and tons of suspension stuff for cost ,no tax or shipping I believe!!!!

The ride home was cool as one of our Vette owners got a race with a brand new SRT-10 that still had ddealer plates........

Maybe next year it will work out better for the premeet.......

I had the Video Camera, my cousin works at a graphics design place that has super-computers that can edit it professionally.. we are going to collaborate and come up with something pretty sweet.. give us a couple weeks.

Haa cool! Can't wait to see it. Hope you got a shot of the expression on those police officers faces when we blasted by them near the track entrance. I'm sure they herd us coming from at least a mile away. :D
