first two dynos are in 2nd gear from 15mph SAE and ACTUAL. the before dyno was started at 10 mph. had to move up to 15 mph because the tires broke loose on the dyno. the 3rd and 4th graphs are in 3rd gear at 72 mph SAE and ACTUAL.

why are you doing pulls in 2nd gear?

because of the neat little thing GM did for us automatic guys starting in 2000. i put the selector in second and it starts in second. no downshift. that way you can see what happens under 3000 rpms. and unless you have a way to lock third gear in. you can't do that. as you can see, doing runs in third gear at 72 mph, you don't get to see the benefit of a higher stall converter. you are way past it's area of ability. the slipping is gone at that point.
