Sold the LT1 several months back. Now have the 2001 SS A4. Definitely feels quicker than my bolt on 1997 A4, especially 70mph and up.

Bought it in the Wakefield/Reading MA area. Has 29K and a clean carfax. Although, after doing a search on the VIN number, it has had a lot of warranty work done: pcm, o2 sensors and cat converter and some other things. May have had a paint job done to it.

Anyways, the car appears to be mechanically sound. Had a car buddy check it out. No funny noises or leaking fluids after the first 100 miles or so.

Anyone Know anything about this vehicle possibly?

It was apparently a single owner vehicle, a lady a believe?

It's warrantied for three months and then the track we will go.

chevy94c: Thanks. I told myself I'd get never get another GM product, but the power and beauty is too hard top resist. The 2 Nissans we have have performed flawlessly. Not a single go- da-- warranty issue for either car. It's weird not going into a GM service shop and begging them to pay for a rental car for warranty work every other month for two straight years: my 97z before modding and my sold 2001 Monte Carlo SS.

1badsscamaro: I want to get a baseline dyno and a few runs in. Not too soon for the mods, as I told the wife I would not for a while. I also want to keep the car MA legal and not worry come inspection time. We'll see. Drag radials (DOT approved) are still legal in MA aren't they?

Kataklysm: I live in Methuen.

Crovax: I'm tempted.

Thanks, guys

If you want to keep your word to your wife, just bring it to the track and I will race it for you. ;) Looks like I could use a vehicle as mine still isn't starting and the first points race is just around the corner. I have a couple of drag radials mounted up.....
