Does anyone think they'll last? I have a spare 93 motor I'm building up, and was wondering if I should just use the stock Pink rods or use some Scat I-beams. I've heard the PM's were stronger, but is it that much of a difference?
There's been several local guys that have had heads/cam/150+ shot on stock bottom ends(a few of which were 93's). There was also another guy that had 630+ on stock rods/crank with low c/r pistons and a P600B(this was a 96 though). I want to spray a larger shot(currently 125) or boost it. Should I fork out the money or use good bolts with the Pink Rods?
My current setup is an LT4 cam kit, and full bolt ons putting 442hp to the wheels. I want to use a larger cam(more blower/nitrous friendly) for the new motor. I plan on reusing the stock crank and putting some forged pistons in for the nitrous/blower accordingly.
TIA,
Wade
