1996 Z28 36k Original Miles 2nd Owner.. MINT

Asking $8,500.

I purchased this car on April 1st, 2004 for $8,500 when it had 21.5k miles. I put around $5000 between mods and rebuilt tranny into the car since then and I feel like my price is very fair. I bought it from a person that used it as his Sunday driver since it was new. The car is immaculate. I have used it as a daily driver since then and I ended up changing the tranny last month along with the waterpump. The underbody of the car is still clean as it is not driven in the snow and I have only driven it in the rain this year. The car is garaged all it's life.

Short run down...
36,000 miles
Automatic with Yank 3500 stall torque converter (tranny rebuilt last month have receipts)
Hardtop
Black leather interior
Bose sound system with factory sub (sounds awesome!!)
CLEAN... no stains or rips in the interior... not even the driver's seat.
The front bumper has a scratch in it but the rest of the panels are flawless. The paint shines as if it was just rolled out of the factory.

I put a lot of work into it. All mods are listed in my sig. The car is beautiful and it runs like a dream. I'm looking to get a M6/LS1/T-top. If you have one and are interested in a trade with cash let me know maybe we can work something out.

I am interested, but I would like to know why the transmission was replaced with less than 40,000 miles. I looked at the video and the car sounds good. Also, how big is the scratch on front of the car? Thanks.

The transmission was rebuilt by One Stop Transmission in Glendale, NY at about 34k miles. The 3rd and 4th gear bands or clutches not sure if they're the same thing were worn out and the transmission would not shift out of 2nd to 3rd or 4th. It was rebuilt to GM Specs by the shop (no shift kit or anything put in). It was not replaced with a used tranny. The transmission has a B&M Supercooler also but I just do not have it listed in my sig.

The scratch on the front I'm going to see if i can get it compounded it out because it is not a deep scratch and people said it would probably come out with compounding. It is on the bottom part of the nose to the left of the license plate. I haven't gotten a chance to get take detailed pictures but I will hopefully get them up this week. I have two sets of the salad shooters... One set of rims are like new salad shooters... I think one has a an inch or two of curb rash. The other ones are used that I purchased with tires and have the clear coat coming off. The car has the pealing clear coat set on right now and they have Bridgestone Potenzas on them.. like 75% in the front and 60% in the back. The other rims have two Nitto 555R drag radials on them (almost bald) and the other two rims are bare.

I will have loads of pics this weekend I work and go to school so I only have time during the weekends to get it ready and take pics. I'm not sure how much shipping would be i'm guessing $500-800 not sure... Tickets from Florida are cheap and if you like the pics and would like to fly in I can pick you up from the airport I live like 30 minutes from Laguardia and JFK. It will be up to you.
