"FREE MODS"

Did a search and a bunch of useless crap came up. Whats a good site ( not brent franks cause his was useless also ) or whats a good list of stuff to do. TB bypass already taken care of.

Never heard anyone say brents site was worthless before?


Not really a whole lot more than the TB bypass....not worthwhile anyway.

Maybe 'useless' was a harsh word. Just didnt see any sense in the rainbow bright flashing lights that didnt lead me anywhere but to a bunch of blabbering. Sorry....

but anyway the free or cheap mods I have done to my car that i felt was worth it ( or gave me something to do when i was uselssly bored) are...

TB bypass..free on a 95 very inexpensive on others

I did the ICM cooling mod I found on shoebox's site...took a few washers I had in a coffee can in my shop

the (homemade/radio shack parts)fan switch mod was really inexpensive

and on my 95 I was able to do the transmission performance switch which did a lot, yet some dont feel much or any difference which may take into account the wear and tear on a tranny (worn out or older high mileage trannys may not feel much of a performance increase)

What transmission perf mod are you talking about? Is that the switch that comes stock on 95's?

Brent is considered to be a TOP notch guy here :bow: and when i say that hes probably in the top 3, and he doesnt Have to have his site up for the rest of us.....he's DOING everyone a FAVOR by Sharing his knowlege. if you cant find what your looking for you could have just asked and im sure if hes heard about it he would have helped ya. people like brent , shoebox, or any of the other great people on this fourm would help in a min. I KNOW IVE BEEN THERE AND THE'VE PULLED ME OUT OF JAMS BEFORE!

Just letting you know that tone plays a role in text too. A snotty post and response is why you have gotten the types of answers you have. Your attitude says it all, it has nothing to do with what you proclaimed to know or not know. I work tech support and the calls I get with your frame of mind are what really blow a good day.

Well I can respond with smartass comments all day long also. the grownups I offended have accepted my apology and thats all I care about. Any johnny come lately's that have no input can shut the **** up and not post or offer mod advice. Simple idea isnt it?

This thread has reached the point of uselessness. For "newer" members, this kind of flaming and reference to various body parts is not encouraged by the management.
