ImportedRoomate 03-25-2005, 02:21 AM Lol, they honestly couldnt try any harder to distinguish it from the Colorado/Canyon?
Everything down to the wheels is the same other than the grill.
Looks like they will only come in ext. cab with the I4, and crew cab with the I5

Why didn't they use the D-Max sheet metal?

Beanboy 03-25-2005, 10:46 AM "Hi. I'm Joe Isuzu! Come on it now for special going out of business clearance sales!"
90rocz 03-25-2005, 10:59 AM If they put out a better warantee than GM, there are people who WILL buy one, we seem to thrive on "Knock Off's" these days... :(
GoghUA 03-25-2005, 11:06 AM Wasn't there a rumor that there would be a diesel version?
That would make it worth the purchase.

There is a 3.0L Diesel Colorado built over in Asia
91_z28_4me 03-25-2005, 12:35 PM evok on C&G has stated that the Thia build Colorado will be getting a new diesel and that this one may be compliant with the new US diesel regulations that are coming up.

Dissapointed at the lack of diesel myself. I was really hoping the Isuzu version would distinuish itself by using a diesel. That would have been an industry first for a mid-sized truck and an excellent selling point. Even sadder considering Isuzu's diesel experties.
redzed 03-25-2005, 02:53 PM Why hasn't the Isuzu brand disappeared yet?
ImportedRoomate 08-08-2005, 09:08 PM Theyre now shipping:

My friend was joking how people could take advantage of that "350" badge lol.
mr00jimbo 08-08-2005, 11:36 PM Wait until somebody goes into Pep boys to order a headlight bulb.
"I need a bulb for my Isuzu i350"
"Uhm...hmm well our computer shows you can just buy the Chevrolet/GMC one, it's the same"
"No! Clean your ears it's an Isuzu! Did I say Chevy? No! I don't buy junk! now get me that part"
Why hasn't the Isuzu brand disappeared yet?
Good question... all they sell now is 2 lightly rebadged GMC models. They don't even have any of there own stuff any more. All the dealerships around me closed. Isuzu needs to die.
