What to look for in an Inexpensive Laptop for Tuning?
What to look for in an Inexpensive Laptop for Tuning?
I am just looking to buy a inexpensive laptop that will be good enough to run either tunercat, lt1 edit, and just monitor with datamaster or freescan... what type of specs should I look for
such as:
processor
hard drive space
ram
all that good stuff...
Not looking to spend much, just something that will do me fine...

Something like this maybe
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...753301775&rd=1
Something with Windows 98, a CD-R and a comm port.
I have a Thinkpad 380Z Windows 2000 Pro with 96 mb of ram, a 266 mhz prosessor and a 2 gig hardrive.
I paid 200.00 for it.
I think you only need 32 mb of ram a 166 mhz prossesor, com port and minimal hardrive space so try to find something for 100-120.00.
