well, today me and my dad went to put in new ball joints, front control arm bushings, and do the LS1 Brake upgrade. Anyhow, we only got to do the passenger side front control arm bushings and ball joints because they were such a Pain in the A$$, and very time consuming. BUt we did manage to get the LS1 brake upgrade on there also. We will finish the drivers side in the next day or so...
But i had to drive the car home, and the steering wheel was way off. It was pointing towards the right to go straight. Suprisingly, you could have the wheel pointed to the right to go straight and let off the wheel and it would kinda stay straight. What would cause the wheel to be way off? I kno you can move the front bushing (horizontal)part of the lower control arm left to right before it is actually tightend down. would that cause it to be off?
I kno the car needs to be aligned after front end suspension work, but im waiting for the drivers side ball joints and bushings to get done.
Just curious why the wheel is way off right now....
Thanks
