I dont have the money to replace my changer and deck.
But since I want a good sub setup, I gotta replace the deck, y'know?
Any way to use the stock changer on an aftermarket deck?

No can do.
There are adapters you can use to connect an after-market changer with the stock HU but not the other way around.

There isnt anything i have heard off, but if the factor even did make anything changers are getting so cheap that it wouldnt be worth your time or money...

yep you sure can. call your local stereo shop and just tell them what you want to do. i did it, they told me only some decks will work with the stock changer just gotta ask what kind.

I am not sure if that is correct, i work at a stero shop, a company
by the name of metra makes certain harnesses but there isnt a univeral plug on the end of aftermarket changers so there would be no way to hook it up. The last guy that commented might be talking about a rf changer instead of a direct link, this is how it usually works. Mabye i could be wrong though, learn new things everday. i have installed and done sales though and have never seen this happen before. good luck

I also work at a stereo shop in sales. I have not seen anything that would allow the use of a factory changer with an aftermarket HU. Of course, new things come out everyday and something like this could exist. We deal with Peripheral which is the industry leader in OEM car audio integration.
