Hi Guys

I Have My Passenger Side Subframe Rail Hitting My Exhaust. I Have Cut Away Some Of The Subframe.

I Have The Single Cat Exhaust

Any Ideas On How I Can Get Past This?

so you cut part of the subframe connector, or the subframe itself? you definately didn't want to do that. most of the time you just have to pry at your exhaust without breaking anything.

On 3rd gen cars, many manufacturers of sub-frame connectors expect you to re-route your exhaust so that the connector on the passenger side will fit. I experienced this with the Hotchkis connectors. Spohn makes one that will fit without any modification to the exhaust. http://www.spohn.net/product.cfm?productid=1309

no i cut some of my subframe connector but clearance is real tight.

i am going to try and heat the exhaust before and after where hitting and than put cold rag on it and see if it will pull away due to contration.

it would of been nice to know that i should of rerouted my exhaust....i had to weld my slp headers to my cat and thus this problem.....

rap rap rap with my nice rebuilt 350 and 305 heads reseated......i am a mild hot rod setup...
