I am going to be doing the LS1 brake upgrade on my 95z, and need to get the rubber lines that go to the caliper. I have called all the local parts stores and nobody carries them. I called a Chevy dealer and they even have to order them. Does anybody know where else to get these? I also tried a junk yard with no luck. The dealer wants $53 each, but I could get some Earls braided lines for that. If nobody knows a cheaper place than I will just order the Earl Hyperfirms.

thanks

go on ebay motors and search the seller "Fparts". they are located near me and i just picked up a full front LS1 brake conversion for 170$. They go through so many F-bodies so im sure they have some around. Once you find them on ebay, i would just give me an email.

try them first, if not i guess go with Earls lines

Choose Cheverolet, 2001, then Camaro. They are very nice stainless lines and are $76. I'm using the C5 ones for my C5 front brake conversion. I'm using the LS1 camaro rear SS lines from them too, with my stock rear calipers.

I actually bought the LS1 set up from them on Ebay the other day for $169, but the listing said it did not include lines. They are supposed to arrive today, so if it doesnt have lines I will just get some braided ones.

Dan,

So you used the LS1 rear lines on your LT1 stock rear calipers and everything fit fine? No bending of brackets? I ask because I'm getting ready to do the LS1 front swap but can only find SS lines kits that include both front and rear. I was either going to use the rears on my LT1 rear calipers or sell just the rear SS lines.

Yes, the rear LS1 Stoptech lines work in the rear for LT1 brakes. The drivers side rear one seemed a little long, but it still works good. No bending brackets. No problems.

good news! my LS1 set up ended up coming with the lines after all, so I will just use them.

Thats not too bad for shipping considering how heavy they are.

WHat kinda shape where they in for ya?

They appear to be in excellent shape. The rotors dont even look worn much. I am going to have them turned and get new pads before I install them. From the look of everything, I would say these came off a pretty new, low mileage car.
