Nitto 275/40/17's on 11 x 17 rims???

What about the Nitto 275's on an 11" rim??? Will this combo work???

They will fit. However, I think that it looks a little funny. If you are going 11" wide, why not go 315 or at least 285?

Nitto's "dimension" table for the 555 shows that anything from 9.0 - 11.0" is OK for the tire. But, when they actually measure the specs on the tire, they put it on a 9.5" wide wheel, which kinda tells you what they had in mind. Even the 285's are measured on a 10.0" wheel.

I had them on my Forgelines RS wheels, and they fit perfectly and looked really good. The only problem was that your wheel sticks out more than your tire, you have no protection against curb rush...Here in NYC it was a problem, but you can live with it....
