I race a rumble bee at the races he lost by like five or more car lengths it wasnt much fun. None of the ricers ever race!! On the way home I stop at a light and this lifted diesel dodge starts taking off fast so I catch up to it and go along side of him up a hill An he has it floored I have it at about 3000rpm and I get over the hill and coast to the next light which turns green by the time we get there and he is still gunning it. So I pass him and get in the other lane and a little way down the highway he is on my butt with his stupid lights shining in through my hatch and he passes me so i catch back up behind him with my brights on i get along side him seeing if he wants to actually race and he goes so i floor it and pull on him like crazy i hit 110mph slow down to make my turn and he flies thorugh the intersection. I was mad cuz we never got a actual race but i would have won but I BET HE THINKS HE WON AND will tell all his dodge buddies!!! Dont you hate when crap like this happens?!

 

Just be thankfull that dodge cummins didnt have a Banks or Edge sticker on it.....After being in an 03 F350 crew with 35s with a 120hp chip and being sucked into the seat on a 4wd launch i dont go looking to race deisels. Just be vigilant. Diesels dont just blow lotsa black they blow by you quick too. but better luck next time and hope u get to line one up one day.

 

diesels can be quick as hell. their is a video floating around here from a few months ago showing a turbo diesel dually toasting a 03-04 cobra. it ran low 11's.

my step dads 2004 chevy 3500 dualy diesel turbo can almost keep up with his 97 Z28.. i just like hearing the trubo in the truck personaly

(the disel just has a K&N intake, and a chip)
(the Z has hypertech power programmer, exhaust, 160 degree thermo.)

 

You would probably beat the Diesel, but not by much.
