The hitch is an odd touch. Overall I don't see much to be impressed with, but it is just a test mule. When we get to see some numbers on it, I will weigh on if I think it is worth the huge price it is going to have.

That will not be the final production vehicle. Keep in mind that it is only a mule with GT siding. I fully expect the production Cobra to look completely different.

I can only assume that its only the cobra powertrain. Although somehow being able to buy the $150k GT's engine in a $38k Cobra kinda cheapens the GT. It'll (the GT) be dead by then anyways right?

Visually, all I see different is some mini-looking C5 Z06 rims, and a big scoop... You gotta figure there will be more appearance changes that aren't on this mule.
I still think they should deep-six the "Cobra" name, since they've gone retro anyway, and go with "GT350", and maybe "GT500" as a step up if they wanted.

That is one ugly looking car. The design worked in 1967, but it doesn't work today. I predict Mustang sales are going to drop in 2006-07. The new Cobra will MSRP at 42K.

It's just a MULE guys...doesn't mean that the Cobra will look like that. They are probably just doing powertrain tests and the hood has a hole in it for the 'charger.

If you think that is what the '07 cobra will look like,your one dumb dude.Test mule for powertrain and suspension means just that.I believe in about 12 days Ford will knock your socks off at the N.Y. auto show.
