I am selling my '90 GSX! i bought it last summer from a mitsubishi tech who took very good care of the car. It has 129,000 miles on the body. The motor/trans and transfer case was rebuilt at 90,000 miles. It is bone stock, never been modified! The motor runs great, the trans shifts good (1-2 shift is a little notchy when cold) NO grinds. The interior is descent, carpet could use a shampoo. It does need new fabric on the headliner. The seats and all plastic are in good shape. The body is pretty good. The paint is still shiney! It has a few little surface rust bubbles and the corner of the bumper cover has paint that has flaked off ( about a 3" piece) It has a new alternator, new rotors all the way around, new ECU, Almost new Blizzaks on 17 rims. Also have stock 16" rims with descent tires that will go with the car. I have a extra rebuilt trans (center diff is siezed) and transfer case, Supra side mount, Autometer EGT guage kit w/probe, boost guage that will also go with the car if wanted. This is a GREAT running DSM, perfect base to start modding! I'm only selling it because my wife is due with our first baby in April and I need a 4-door-baby-friendly-car. $2800 OBO!

The bad:
1- It will need tie-rod ends soon, the front end rattle a little over bumps
and there is a little shimmie at high speeds.
2- The drivers window squeaks when rolled up/down. i know the motor is good
and the window still tracks fine, I think it just needs to get lubed.
3- The trans and t-case are both in great condition (stock clutch also) It
is a little notchy on the 1-2 shift when cold. Once it warms up it shifts
smooth.
4- When it has been REALLY cold and the car has been sitting it takes a few
tries to start. I thought it was because my fuel level was low but it does
it with a full tank too. It ALWAYS starts but is a little resistant when
it's REALLY cold, 0 degrees overnight etc.
5-Also until the car is been driven for a while the turbo puffs a little
smoke at WOT. Once you have done a couple full throttle blasts it doesn't
smoke any more. I believe it's the bearings in the turbo where oil collects
after shut down and burns off again once running at operating temp. The
turbo still pulls very strong. the valve cover gasket shows a little
moisture from oil but is not dripping or anything.
I just took some pics yesterday if anyone is interested!

i am pretty interested. i have to find another car for next winter. i know thats a ways away but i am going to start looking soon. i have a 92 lumina that i am trying to sell soon. i have always liked those early dsms for some reason. turbo and all wheel is awesome. i wanted to look for a car like that to mess around with as far as small modifications and what not. i live in saginaw michigan so at least we are in the same state haha. like i said i will be looking soon hopefully...trying to get some cash and dont have another car to drive until winter is over and i bring the z28 back out. id love to see pictures my email is thegreateugene@yahoo.com. also perhaps i just missed it but is it a 5-speed or an auto?

thanks,
adam

ehh the lumina is a eurosport coupe...i bought it as somewhat of a beater to drive in the winter so im not sure it would suit your needs very well. the pictures of the front looks great great but for some reason i cannot open the rest of them. like i said though, not quite in the market yet because i need to sell the lumina first when it warms up. great car though, ive always liked those. ill be sure to get back to you if i can sell the lumina any quicker.

thanks,
adam

Thank god you have this to get rid of instead of your Camaro. Both of my parents drove Z28's before I was born (I think its hereditary or something). My dad sold his for a grey 4 door Citation, and my mom sold hers for a 1979 Datsun 210B, which became my first car. I appreciate the sacrifice they made and all, but I still yell at my dad whenever it comes to mind :)

Yeah, I thought my wife might suggest selling the SS but she actually likes the car almost as much as I do! I'm planning on my daughter being a regular at the track and in my garage with me! She WILL like hotrods!! :D
