Looking for a high performance chevy engine for 67 camaro

Looking for a high performance chevy engine. Something like a 383 stroker or even a big block. Something in the 3k range or under budget. Looking to buy in area. Wanted a healthy - mean sounding engine

so my 355 is out? well I got a 402 big block for you for $900 complete minus the carb/ditributor (there on the 355) it needs 2 pistons (trw replacements are about $40 ea.) or just get a whole set. its very similar to what I have done to the 355 as in arp bolts, hardenend this, solid that. email me if your interested and I'll write it all out. it needs to be rebuilt but you could have that done and be under 2K for a fresh rebuild if you buy mine. just sittin here takin up space.
