shifter rattles in 3rd gear

any of you M6 guys have a problem where your shifter rattles in 3rd gear under load?

My 98SS has always rattled a little in 3rd, but now with 60k it's become more pronounced especially around 1/2 throttle acceleration.

Is there a way to stop it or reduce it?

anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Stock shifter? maybe a trans mount?

How bad of a rattle is it? Mine does it slightly in all gears but most noticeable is in 3rd gear under acceleration. It didn't start doing this until the throwout bearing started to rattle on me a few months ago which is around the same time I developed a slight leak around the bellhousing. With it in Neutral... can you hear a slight "whirring" sort of sound coming from the shifter for a second or two after you shut it off?

I'm replacing the slave and throwout bearing when I swap out the clutch... hopefully it'll clear up all the problems at once.
