Need instructions for replacing a broken M6 tranny mountjoey93turbo 03-03-2005, 02:14 PM What's the easiest way to do it? any howto's or writeups on the board? shouldaboughtthez 03-03-2005, 02:18 PM http://www.installuniversity.com/install_university/installu_pages/sophomore_year/tranny_mount_m6.htm try this. joey93turbo 03-03-2005, 02:31 PM Perfect, thank you. shouldaboughtthez 03-03-2005, 03:43 PM no problem! valter 03-03-2005, 04:33 PM That's overkill!!! No need to drop transmission crossmember at all. You can just put car on ramps, put jack where shown, remove tranny mount nut, jack a tranny a lil more, remove two other transmission mout bolts with open-ended wrench. Then remove old mount, put new. 15 minuts of work. blind527 03-07-2005, 05:58 PM I have one question about this. I know I jack the transmission near the transmission mount, but where do I put the jack stands to get the car up? Should I lift the car up from the front or the rear? I know where to put the jack stands, but which side do I lift up? valter 03-07-2005, 08:35 PM I have one question about this.
