That's overkill!!! No need to drop transmission crossmember at all. You can just put car on ramps, put jack where shown, remove tranny mount nut, jack a tranny a lil more, remove two other transmission mout bolts with open-ended wrench. Then remove old mount, put new. 15 minuts of work.

I have one question about this. I know I jack the transmission near the transmission mount, but where do I put the jack stands to get the car up? Should I lift the car up from the front or the rear? I know where to put the jack stands, but which side do I lift up?

I just used Rhino Ramps for my front wheels. There was enough space to do all work from sides.
