Anyone running Yukon gears?
Looking for your thoughts on this, as I'm new to the world of rear-diff.
A highly recommended guy in town who just does work on gears told me he has installed Yukon gears before and trusts them.
So, I'm looking at bumping my '96Z w/A4 and 2.73's to 3.73's and he's recommended Yukon. Also, he likes them because they employ a thicker ring gear which eliminates the need for a new carrier or spacers, plus I can continue to use the stock posi. (That's what I'm told anyway but again, naive when it comes to gearing)
Best part is, he can do them for $5-600.
Thoughts?

Re: Anyone running Yukon gears?
I have never heard of Yukon gears myself but I do Know that when i went from 2.73 to 3.73 I wen to Richmond gear and they also make a thicker Ring gear for a 2 series carrier that also dosent require any spacers.
$5-600 bucks for the gears installed is an ok price I guess mine cost me about that much also.
