Chevy engine wanted for 67 camaro? Anybody

looking for a complete small block chevy engine. Basically looking for something thats heathly, sounds mean and beats cobras - Something with about 400 or more horsepower. 383 stroker,400,etc,etc will all be cool. But I'm only looking to spend -3,500 the most on this - Going into a 67 camaro. Looking for one locally. Hate to buy something this much without taking a look at it - if you know what I mean - Anybody please let me know- email or p.m me - Mike

i bought a crate engine last dec. for 3grand with 440 hp on a 350 bored 40 over the engine is not complete u will have to get a carb and the rest of the goodies which would bring u to about 3700 after the water pump ect. i can give you the number if youd like they build alot of dif output engines and they also build to specifications. the onlyt hing is they will prolly charge you crating and shiping which would be about 300 from arizona.

they run all their engines after building them to dyno them on an engine dyno. which is cool this way you know nothing is goign to be wrong in the valvetrain before you get it. that everything is mechanically sound before shipping. they have a good turnaround time. but for them to send me another build sheet took them some time to look it back up. hit me up on IM on JOWAS03 or email me at wasjo6431@yahoo.com. ill send you some photos of the engine. if ud like.

i can second what chris said too.... plus i have a set of headers that would be perfect. heddman's LT for 2nd gen SBC. fits 67-81

they are new in box, ib ought them for an older project i decided to scrap because the exterior was mint but the under carrage was apeice. ill sell ya em for like 100 bux.
