inline fuel pump, myth or truth??

when i was installing my ati procharger a buddy of mine suggested that the inline fuel pump would be a bad idea. he said that they can cause bubbles to form in the line because the pump is pulling on the existing pump. it sounds very possible but is it a concern i should have? is the pump even nessesary because i am not using a FMU?

Yes it will help fuel pressure if u are using a stock fuel pump and i did not notice any bubbles with dealing with my ATI inline pump.

Ideally you would want a large single intank pump but, if you still have the stock in-tank fuel pump you will need the booster pump. I have been running on my 11 year old stock fuel pump with ATI booster pump with no problems.

Uh, never heard of that one before.

I really can't see how it could happen unless the the pump in the tank became non-submerged causing it to suck air. In that case, the added inline pump would have nothing to do with it.

And the inline pump can't just form oxygen by itself unless it was boiling the fuel, so I don't see how any of that could happen in the real world. :confused:
