California Car Dustermoparman 02-24-2005, 12:39 PM If you have Big Lots stores in your area, and want a California Car Duster, they have them for $6.99. BlueV6 03-10-2005, 02:16 AM california duster left small scratches on my hood i dont recommend them just IMO exceldetail 03-10-2005, 10:17 AM I have some reseravtions about them myself. They are ok if use with days accumulation of dust, but anything more than that (my opinion) should be left up to a flash detailer. And those are limited also...... Kevin V 2002 SS 03-10-2005, 12:19 PM I've been using the California Duster for a few years and never had a problem with them making any marks. moparman 03-10-2005, 12:49 PM I've never had a problem with scratches from the Duster. The only way I can see this happening, is if the Duster becomes contaminated with some grit or something, or the surface being dusted already has some type of grit on it. 87DJP2001 03-10-2005, 01:01 PM Just remember that this product was ment to remove dust on ALREADY CLEAN CAR and not for grime & road dirt that should be washed off. A great product if used correctly. mystic-t/a 03-10-2005, 01:24 PM Just remember that this product was ment to remove dust on ALREADY CLEAN CAR and not for grime & road dirt that should be washed off. A great product if used correctly. What you said. Use common sense people. ;) Kevin V 2002 SS 03-11-2005, 07:53 AM I have seen people use them wrong. The literally rub the brush across the surface instead of simply lightly draping the strands across the surface. i cringe when I see someone do that. alburst 03-14-2005, 07:47 PM I dust my Firehawk with it everyday and it just keeps workin better everyday. Chevy01SS 03-23-2005, 11:57 AM They work great for pollen and light dust, but you can't be retarded and think they will be a substitute for washing your car. Only problem I have with them is that on a black car sometimes they leave traces of the parrafin wax that they are treated with. WTF 03-24-2005, 12:05 PM I've used one for years with no problems...I love it :D DWray 03-26-2005, 02:05 PM I have two of them. One for the lower half of the car (where it gets alot dustier 'cause of the way my car is shaped) and one for the top half. :D They work great. :p LS1RedZ 03-30-2005, 10:38 AM I live down a 1/2 mile long driveway that is gravel and it is dusty as he** and i use mine ALOT and i have never had any problems with it. It works great for me and i recommend them to anybody. tylerdj 03-30-2005, 12:49 PM I live in West Texas so I accumulate ALOT of dust on my car. The duster works great as long as you use it right. Like everyone said though, it's not a substitute for washing your car. | ||
