WTB desk top computer

I would like to buy a used PC with a decent video card and cd burner. Also would like to have 2.0 ghz with decnet amount of ram.....and youmight have guessed I don't know much about computers :D Looking for just the tower to save on shipping.

I'll sell ya my amd athlon 800mhz processer/fan/heatsink, motherboard, ati 7500 video card, 128MB memory, with a sound card too for $75. all you need is an atx case, powersupply, and the cd burner, and hard drive. its currently in my pc right now, but Im just waiting on a cooling fan for my new setup and I'll have it by monday. let me know. also I'll include the drivers for those parts too. I can poss. include a 10 Gig. hard drive for $15 if the fella near me still has it for sale.

I was really looking for a "turn-key" sort of deal, with a tower preassembled.... but see if you can get that 10 gig hard drive. Be nice to have a "copy" of windows xp :D PM me....we'll get some kind of a deal going

Can set you up with an IBM A-40 800mhz PIII processor (133mhz FSB) with 40x CDROM, 384 KB PC133 Ram (add $25 for 512 KB RAM) Nvidea GForce 4 Mx440 video AGP 4x, 20 Gig HD, 17" monitor, KB, 10/100 ethernet card (no modem card) Mouse configured and ready with XP for $300 plus ship (no XP disc). I totally agree with 96Z on the pricewatch and new egg...do all my shopping for components there. Just check out the feedback on the various sellers and make sure you read the return/restock policies. It's the cheapest place to get wholesale prices on equipment and have shipped to your door.
