4 SALE: Comp Cams 918 Springs, 774 retainers/locks from Crane etc
I was going to install these springs into my LT1 Motor, but found out the guy that did my heads used a cup instead of a shim, and the springs dont fit in the cup. So instead of taking the heads off, as the heads have teflon seals that dont come off easy, I decided, sell the stuff. and wait till I need to take the heads off.
They are brand new , just ordered them a few days ago from Jegs. They are a popular spring, and the retainers are new along with the Crane Locks, part number 99097-1. These are 7 degree locks and retainers. They work in all LS-1's, and LT1's. I paid 250 total.
Asking 200 plus shipping. This is fair I think. I will also throw in the CompCams guide plates, that were in my LT1 heads. They are not for LT1/LT4 motors, and I have pics to show there is a difference in angle on the heads for these motors. ANy other GM Chevy small block I am sure they will fit.
