I have already bought an amp. It's a Lighting Audio 200 x 2/300 X 1 @ 4 Ohms. I've planned on getting 2 stage 1 Rockford Fosgate 8 ohm 10's in a sealed box. I'm choosing the 8 ohms so I can bridge them without stressing the amp. Now I didn't really think of it till recently. Really only after I ran the wires for the amp. I plan to put it in the small storage hole on the drivers side in the back. After I remove the Factory sub there should be plenty of room. Then after I though of it I wondered if I got 1 12" in a stealth box would it sound better, the same, or worse than the 2 Rockford 10's. I mean I can get 1 awesome 12 for the price of the 2 Rockfords. The box will probably cost about the same either way. I just want the best setup for my money. If I had to choose right now I'd go with the tens, but I've got about a week. I've also toyed with 2 12's in a sealed box. It would only be about 30 dollars more than the 10's. In you guy's opinion what would you do? I'm going to upgrade my door a pillar speakers as well with some Pioneers. Right now I'm looking at 255.80 for the 2 pair of Pioneers and the RF 10's. Plus 160 or so for the box which I'm going to buy locally. So that's about $415. Like I said I can get the 12's for like 30 bucks more. I just don't want to be disappointed after I'm all done. Another thing, What size door and pillar speakers go in my car? Sounddomain.com says 7" but Crutchfield says 6 3/4. I would like to use the factory black plastic adapter if I could. I have the 5 speaker factory Bose system. Thanks for the help.
