Cross-Drilled Rotors and Painted BrakesSchmidt519 02-20-2005, 10:02 PM Check out my new brakes what do you think. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/655039/4 95_LT1_6SPD 02-20-2005, 10:06 PM Looks pretty nice to me :thumb: 1stls1 02-20-2005, 10:30 PM don't get the rotors too hot! I'm waiting on my Brembo(?) sloted rotors. After the install, I have black ceramic paint waiting to go on my cal. n2oblkz 02-21-2005, 03:29 AM Looks really nice. Once you get nice rims, you always have to do something with the brakes. 4SFEDZ 02-21-2005, 01:17 PM hey schmidt what all mods do have done to dyno at 365 rwhp. Just wondering... Schmidt519 02-21-2005, 02:25 PM hey schmidt what all mods do have done to dyno at 365 rwhp. Just wondering... Sorry, that was flywheel, hahaha I know no one guys by that, And I posted that a long time ago, before I knew anything about LS1's or cars in general. But after my cam and intake I should be about 370-400 RWHP  I will update info after I get it dyno tuned next month. I basically got the 365 by taking the stock number 305 hp and adding the horsepower gains that the manufacturer claimed. I know now that this is not accurate. I learned a little since then ;) DontMixWithRice 02-22-2005, 04:44 PM do you feel a difference in terms of braking power? how do the rims respond to it? Schmidt519 02-22-2005, 11:54 PM [QUOTE=DontMixWithRice]do you feel a difference in terms of braking power? how do the rims respond to it?[/QUOTE The brake calipers are stock just painted, the pads are EBC and hawk and I noticed slightly better stopping and less fade with them, and they procedure less brake dust. and the cross-drilled were slightly better braking, mainly for looks though. :D The rims however are huge as far as better handling and performance overall and they are a major improvement especially with some good Z rated tires.. take turns 70+ no sweat. slayer6x6 02-26-2005, 05:44 PM I couldnt really tell a difference in perfromance with my car, looks cool though.
