I was wondering is it possible to get 550-600 rwhp with the sts turbo kit- without upgrading the turbo. The I'm not 100 percent sure but I think some people made that power without upgrading the turbo?? If it's true are you running stock heads, cam??? - Any info would help - Mike

I don't think it would support that much. But if you call Dave at STS he can tell you what you need.

The most I've ever heard of is 532 on a built LT1 with the base turbo. Why not just get the GT-67 so you know you have enough.

Here you go

that is with the base kit 60-1 @14psi, but with a small turbo cam. We wanted to test the limits of the kit before upgrading. Just ran 12.1@126 with the car the other night.

What type of suspension/tires? You need to get that 60ft down I'm guessing based on the et/mph. Is it bogging or spinning bad on the launch, and do you have any vids you can send me?

On that run spinning the tires, partially from track prep and from street suspension. BMR lowing springs, ZR1s, and other parts for handling don't help the car lauch. There are plans for a track (60') suspension setup for the car, but the car is a daily so i haven't gone that rought with the car yet. The video will be up soon on the site.
BTW take a look at what happend to the Opti trashed (http://www.jlturbo.com/pics/optitrashed.JPG) as i went through the traps on that run.
