that's right! i traded the SS in on a brand new totally loaded toyota tacoma and man what a awesome truck!!!! i'm going to miss the SS but i don't think that will last too long:) they gave me 14,800 on the car which isn't too bad. that was the best price out of 6 dealers that i shopped at.
hey maybe i'll show the truck off at the next gathering

Man the SS is going to be missed. But I agree with you. Drive one every day for a few years and you cna really get tired of the bad weather. I remember when it snowed I userd to have to borrow a car from mom or dad. I couldnt even get hte camaro out of the driveway.
Now with the truck I just hit the gas and away I go.
The Tacoma's a nice. My cousin has a Tacoma with 140,000 miles and still going strong. I'm not a big Toyota fan but I have to say that my wifes carolla has held up great to her abuse. And belive me she abuses that poor car.
I'm looking for a 2500HD crewcab Silverado/Sierra. I just cant bring myself to blow $45k on a truck....

Those reasons are exactly why I have a HEMI Ram. :D
Having a second and many times more practical vehicle makes the Camaro much more fun to drive. Also nice to have a second vehicle when the mood hits and I suddenly tear it apart to change something that was working just fine.

Yea I know the borrowing the parents car in bad weather o to well...my 97 LT1 sucked to drive in icy/snowy weather. No pick up here but I have a 2003 Chevy tracker LT 4*4...The last snow storm was great....throw that baby in 4 wheel High and take off w/ no worries. I plan on gettin another fbody/stang for strictly a good weather/weekend/Englishtown car...Very hard to have these types of cars as daily drivers/ play cars.

Sorry to read that, Eric, but I fully understand. I'm fortunate enough to be able to "hide" mine away until the weather is more appropriate by having the '01 Tahoe.
I wish you the best with the truck! :)

The smell of burning ruber with the feel of the G force by a Chevy shall be missed. :(
