RKB4C 02-15-2005, 09:43 AM As the title says, I am considering selling a beautiful 1995 B4C Camaro. I'm not sure this is the right site to sell a "collectible" car but here goes:
Car is 100% stock and has only 20,100 miles. I have every piece of paper to document its authenticity.
Car is currently garaged in central New York, but I can deliver it anywhere between central NY and Chicago, IL area as I'll be driving it home in the spring.
This car is perfect and would be priced accordingly. Adult owned always (I am 2nd owner - bought it with 17K miles).
Rare B4C (“police cruiser” Z28 w/o the badges), manual tranny, black leather, LT-1, no t-tops, bone stock!
Only 310 B4C’s produced in 1995. 99% of them were put into service (and now have > 100K miles on them). I have never seen another ’95 purple nor one with just over 20K miles.
The car is in the greater Utica, NY area.
Make an offer if interested. Otherwise, saving for car shows.
B4C Pkg (according to my sticker) consists of:
5.7 Liter V8
6 spd manual
A/C
dual exhaust
16" alum wheels
P245/50ZR16 S/B rad tires
4 wheel disc brakes
engine oil cooler
limited slip rear axle
3.42 rear axle ratio
140 amp alternator
ride and handling suspension system
Add to that other options:
delco-bose
LEATHER BUCKET SEATS (option 122 - graphite leather)
p/w
power driver side seat
cruise
pdl
rwd
keyless remote
twin elect sport mirrors
fog lamps
body side moldings
power hatch release
carpeted floor mats
Same options show up on build sheet and GM vehicle inquiry sheet (which the dealer ran for my VIN# when I first had some fluids changed out.

indieaz 02-21-2005, 08:24 PM FWIW, the guy i bought my B4C from had a '97 that had never been used in service and a '92. The '92 was sold a little over a year ago for around $12k with 1,200 miles on it. The '97 had around 50k miles and i believe it sol for around $7k. Just adding my 2 cents - the B4C doesn't really catch much more money than a standard Z-28. I bought my card with CAI, Headers, catback, all new pads/rotors, new MAP sensor and O2s, new heater core, new radiator, new speakers, brand new transmission for $5k. This was 2 years ago, it had 130k miles on it - but ran like the day it was born. Car is very clean. Basically everything that could be replaced on the whole car was replaced witht he exception of the interior (which is in excellent condition) and the engine (which like i said ran great and didn't leak a drop of oil).

YZF/LS1 Freak 06-08-2005, 06:55 PM Just my 2 cents, my boss has a 94 polo green tan interior B4C original owner car, all options but t-tops, 8k original miles. Has a chip and wheels but still has original wheels. Perfect looking car and I know he would sell it for 8k but thats about the extreme most you could get for one. I saw a 93 I think it was with like 5 miles on it for sale once on e-bay and the guy wanted like 20k for it. He got an offer for like 9k I think and he refused it and I don't think he ever sold it.
RKB4C 06-09-2005, 09:38 AM Leather & M6?
Tell him to put it up for sale on the board for $8K - maybe I'll buy it.
YZF/LS1 Freak 06-09-2005, 11:42 AM I allways forget that hey could come with 6 speeds and leather, no A4, and tan cloth.
RKB4C 06-09-2005, 11:46 AM Maybe that's why the price difference - even more rare (a "cop car" with 6 spd and leather!).
See also the other '95 Z28 put up for sale at this site for $12,900.
BLACK LT1 06-09-2005, 08:32 PM Randall,
You gotta kill this thread, man. You are getting NOWHERE!! AutoTrader or EBay will sell your car.
FWIW, I sold a 1995 Z28, excellent shape in and out, with 88,000 miles on it for $6500 about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Alot of people don't give a **** if it is or isn't a B4C car.
BTW, Randall, you and I almost had a deal worked out including your non-running T/A. Remember how you kept INSISTING that a Chevy dealer check my Z28?? Well, the people that bought my car took it TWO different places. One was a GM dealer, the other was her personal mechanic. BOTH PARTIES FOUND NOTHING, I REPEAT NOTHING, WRONG WITH MY Z28!!!
I told you I wasn't out to screw anybody. You could have had the Red T/A GONE, and a sweet Z28 in your garage. But you were just waayyy to anal, man.
RKB4C 06-09-2005, 11:51 PM Already have a buyer for the T/A lined up... just waiting for his insurance to settle. You missed out - a T/A for $3K. If someone else comes up with the $3K while I'm waiting, he's out of luck.
Yours is/was a time bomb ready to go off. Otherwise, you wouldn't be getting rid of it or be afraid to have it inspected. Why should I believe you now?!
I'm buying a new Vette - don't need your baggage.
BTW - read the forum rules - you shouldn't be posting here unless you're offering. Adios! Consider yourself reported.
YZF/LS1 Freak 06-10-2005, 12:50 AM Maybe that's why the price difference - even more rare (a "cop car" with 6 spd and leather!).
See also the other '95 Z28 put up for sale at this site for $12,900.
If there are 95's going for that much then I got a killer deal because I got my 96 for $5,500! and its in pretty good shape. Maybe its just got a ton of mods.
The most I see any LT1 cars going for are in the 8k range. Unless its an LT4 car or something or one with a TON of mods.
I would just stick your car on ebay and you will then see what people are willing to pay for it and it will be over with. :)
With it being a 6 speed and leather you might be able to get 9 out of it if you made sure it was spotless aka show ready. My boss wanted 12 for a while till after talking to me realized he would never get that for it.
RKB4C 06-10-2005, 09:35 AM No, I would just keep it. Don't need the money - just looking to consolidate some vehicles. I don't have a 6 car garage (in IL, anyway).
I may drive it to Bloomington Gold for the Corvette show - it would look like a steal at $12-13K compared to the prices of some of those Vettes.

RKB4C 08-01-2005, 10:02 AM Thanks!
Crazy95Z 08-01-2005, 11:31 AM Hey man, if you're really wanting to get rid of it, I would just go ahead and list it in the classic car trader or something like it. Everyone around here is more into modding thier cars than saving them. Heck, my car only has 52k on it and as you can see in my sig, there's alot done to it. But my dad just bought a '96 T/a with 23,000 on the odometer and he paid 14,000 for it. It's an all options factory car with ebony leather and 6-speed. Completly original. So I think what you are looking for is fair. But then agian, you're trying to sell it to someone who will use it, not park it for 30 years by posting it here so low-ball offers should be expected. Personally I wouldn't of even wasted my time here if I was serious about getting rid of it, just take it to an auction or list it in a classic car trader. Later.

FutureZMan 08-19-2005, 11:00 AM I completely disagree.
I would almost PREFER one of these or a 1LE to a standard Z28.
I think its a decent price for a well maintained low production specialiality car.
Good luck selling them man, kick ass catch
TRICK95 08-19-2005, 11:01 AM Sounds like a real nice car, I'm having similar results with a 1 of 29 LT4 Firehawk. Sorta can't believe folks not willing to pay below LOWBOOK NADA for a 330+ horse driver LT4 'Hawk, kinda like your B4C, except yours is with lower miles.
Good luck to ya & TTT.
BTW, if I were to sell my '95 1LE, it wouldn't be going for lowbuck like all the threads claim either, I'd simply hold onto it. :)
RKB4C 08-19-2005, 11:13 AM Yes, I will keep my B4C unless I get a fair price. I know this is the wrong site to sell a potentially collectible car - but it's free advertising.
Whoever buys this is getting a car which looks/runs like the day it left the showroom.
TRICK95... I don't remember your situation... but if you're interested in a trade involving a 2001 Harley Heritage Softail Classic (2475 miles), a 2004 Suzuki Forenza (14K miles), or 1999 Ford Eddie Bauer Expediation (92K miles).... let's talk. Please send pics of yours to rlk911@ameritech.net.

This is the second time TODAY that I have warned you not to post in people's For Sale threads if you aren't genuinely interested in what is being offered for sale.
READ THIS:
http://web.camaross.com/forums/announcement.php?f=52
All of those rules apply to everyone here, and that means that Rule #2 applies to YOU.
Stop crapping in people's threads or you will be banned.

Injuneer 09-09-2005, 11:48 PM eddie.....
You seem to use this forum for 2 things.... 1) selling your cars, apparently more than a casual buisness, in effect making you a non-paying advertiser - not a permitted use; 2) insulting people who are trying to sell their cars for a price you don't happen to like.
If you want to make a serious offer on a car for sale, make it. If you don't have anything else to say, stay out of these threads.

1984camaroz28, please don't in for sale threads unless you have something constructive to say or are interested in the item. Some people may take offense to your style of humor. Thanks!
RKB4C 10-21-2005, 08:57 PM thanks Mr. Moderator!
snakeatinZ 10-21-2005, 09:45 PM I will be looking for what you have someday!!! I am lt1 to the bone. The right buyer will come along soon. They will be in thier second childhood though.;) I say low teens is a good price. Hang in there.
RKB4C 10-22-2005, 03:09 PM I have an interested party - just need to close the deal. Thanks. :usa:
roadblock 10-25-2005, 11:31 AM In 1974 I passed on a '69 Yenko Camaro that was for sale at the price of 4,995.00 dollars. I know that todays cars are never going to acheive that level of value but there are a few landmark cars that will maintain a higher level of interest than others. A low mile, leather interior, 6 speed B4C car would certainly fit in that catagory. I can not believe that there is another B4C car optioned such as this much less one that has been saved in this condition. The price is not out of line and the rarity of the car is undisputeable. I am therefore the proud new owner of this car! In the years to come, the few of you that are still into cars, will look back and say, "I passed up an opportunity to own a rare piece of automotive history"! Thanks again, Randy, for taking such good care of a rare car. I look forward to picking the car up in the very near future.
RKB4C 11-29-2005, 12:22 PM Yes - the car is gone and I will miss it.
However, I think it has found a great home.
Thanks, Al! It was a pleasure doing business with you. Don't forget... should you ever decide to sell please call me first! :usa:

Congrats! I know it was not easy.
roadblock 11-29-2005, 03:46 PM Thank you; Randy and Jason! The car is joining two other Camaros in my collection and is a worthy addition. Randy was great to work with and Jason provided an excellent forum for the meeting. I read in one of the earlier posts that the buyer would be someone going through his midlife crisis. (That being said, I have been in this same crisis for more than 34 years.) I also read how the price was too high. I paid a fair price for an excellent car and value is not established by words but by what someone is willing to pay. (One persons unwillingness to pay will never establish market value.) I do not feel that I could have purchased more car for the money. I hope to enjoy this forum and, this car for many years to come! Thanks again.
