Hello, everyone- this is my 1st post here, and sadly, its not a good one :(

Yesterday, I started my car, she turned over, then died. The clock reset, but everything else worked. I let her sit for a min, then started her up- fine. It happened again twice today. But, I have started my car up a few times today w/out any probs. Please help!!! Thanks everyone!!!

Lindsey

Check the connection on the battery post to see if they are loose. A loose connection will make that problem happen. Also a dead battery cell might be the problem.

Help yourself and others by making a short signature that shows basic info about your car (at least year, model, transmission and any other pertinent mods).

I would suspect the battery if its the original Delco one.

I checked the battery, connections, etc. - EVERYTHING is fine. So, now I'm completely stumped. The car is still cutting out when I try to start it, then will start right up on the second try.

Since you check the connection how about the post are they dirty with acid build up? Might have to take the battery out and have it tested for a bad cell. Also I just wanted to make sure your saying that the radio/clock would reset it self every so often.
