78 Nova vs. my Zchewbonger93z28 02-12-2005, 10:22 PM A coworkers boyfriend has challenged me to a race. He claims he has 390hp and he has only raced at 1/8 mile tracks. Suposedly he runs a 1.6 60ft. and a 8.7 1/8 at 99mph. I honestly dont see how that is possable. My car is very consistent at a 2.1 2.2 60ft and 1/8 at 8.8 8.9 at 78.9 mph and my average 1/4 et is 14.00 at 99mph. I think he is blowin smoke at me but you guys tell me what you think. we are both autos. Yea right that is either a typo or he is lying. 99 in the 1/8 with a 1.6 sixty is no where near 8.7, more like mid-low 7's in the 1/8. With that kind of power, if he has that much to begin with, hes probably gonna be running high 13s to low 14s. I would think you can take him. And who gives a damn if arguements are started, its called having differing opinions on what may or may not happen. Everyone can have one so who cares. | ||
