Tom is the big night and i just wanted 2 know some of your opinions before i race him at the track/ he ran a 15.9 best at his last 1/4 mile tryout
but ive never ran my car so i have no idea what my times will be.


Who will win lets get some votes T/Atpi305/ or 84 Camaro L69 H.O

 

if the 84 is stock and i assume has miles on it the t/a will smoke you...they werent fast to start and father time has slowed it down more.but theres only one way to find out,,,drop the hammer.....be warned your going to get some mutt who says his ho goes 14.1 or some crap but yours wont

rebuilt the H.o motor new trans/
rebuilt distrib/new plugs/wires/cap/rotor/
Deleted My power steering /
Deleted everything under the hood but what makes her run./
Ive driven his its not that fast /+ it has 200k miles on her fully stock motor..
ANd that car is Not light at all.....
This should be good..

Anyways i dont care cause if i loose ive got /headers/and Eld Perform Intake/
Going on her next week....That should be ok to at least keep up with him..

 

If that L69 is in any sort of decent tune, youll beat the TPI. The L69 auto cars had 3.42's as a standard rear gear, with 3.73's being optional. That, combing with the top end power of the L69.....youll beat him. The H.O. 5-speed cars would run a VERY low 15, if not break into the 14's. The autos wan mid to low 15's.

 

Yup, i believe you have better gearing, and that will win-out in the end

 

3.73s were optional with the auto...i got one...otherwise you'd have 3.42s...the 5spd cars always got 3.73s

My car never hooked up at the track/ it was so bad the tower guy told the crowd "man ladies and gent somone will be buying new tires tom." I kid you all not/ I absolutely never stop spining the tires o well ill be back

Dear TransXtreme....I guess we should all keep our 15sec cars 4 the street o/ never2 learn anything from it but how to showoff to our friends and when we have around 15,000 to blow on a all out track car,well i guess ill take it to the track with only the real dogs and not even be able to stage it properly! Gimme a break! O and if your punk A$$ runs into somone like my wife who's expecting,Because you and your friends thought that it would be cool to street race YOUR 15sec Car! Watch out for an L69 with 3:73 gears. The combination of carburator, and good gears is hard to beat. My car was all original 54,000 mile car when I bought it. The first time I took it the track with just gutted cat and underdrive pulley it went 14.55 @ 95 mph.
