anyone know a good place with good deals on tread?

looking for 255/40/17 for the front and 275/40/17 for the rear

Twitch is da man for tires. I'll need a new set of 275/40/17s all around this year. Probably go with Eagle F1 GS-D3's. I smell a group purchase maybe? Shop and compare any tire sponsors from other web-sites cause I've seen you lurking around too.

 

What size are the wheels, if they are the same, why dont you go with a 275 all around?? It's just easier to rotate all 4 tires at the same time. I have found that if you like Yoko tires or can find the tire you want there, you pretty much cant beat NTW's prices. They sometimes get other brands here and there but check out the website for their stuff.

Me too Twitch. I spent some time looking at various tires and the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's seem to be the best tire for wet and dry surfaces plus they are very popular so I'm on the bandwagon too. Would a group purchase of a dozen or more tires save us any dough Twitch? I'm still considering the chrome hawk rims too.

Not really, in order to save money we would need to buy in ALOT and not many are going to want to fork over the beans for the premium GS D3's. . . most seem to want the more economy style ZR tire like a falken or kumho. Even I opted for the FK-451's on the front this time around instead of the Goodyear supercar runflats which were huge $$$ .

 

I replaced the Supercar runflats with the GS D3's. they look great and I'm happy with the ride etc
