I brought the T/A out for some more passes at a different track than I usually run b/c it hooks better. Well I still couldn't leave on N2o from the hit but I left on motor and as soon as the car left I would spray and it ran hard. These are the passes.
1st pass N/A
1.64 60'
7.24 1/8th@96mph
11.400@118mph spun a little 18psi in slicks.
Dropped the pressure and loaded the bottle.
1.52 60' carried the front tire after it left.
6.59 1/8th@105mph
10.34@130.5mph 150hp n2o.
Changed to 175hp jets.
1.55 60' spun a little.
6.53 1/8th 106.4mph
10.23@132mph
last pass.
1.51 60 12psi in slicks.
6.51@106mph
10.24@131.7mph running low on n2o and bottle pressure.

I was really excited to run 10.20's@130+MPH with mediocre 1.5 60's on the stock 10bolt and 3.42's and stock torque arm. I was crossing the line at 6700rpms with the 26" tires. The car is really running well and I don't know how the rear is still alive after today. I have an 8.8" hybrid reay to put in and a T-brake in the tranny. I will probably need some bigger tires to hook it though. Later Clint

Clint, that's really good. You might consider switching to the backup rear pretty soon! Congrats!

Thanks guys the car is running great. The compression is about 11.1 maybe 10.8 or so. The new rear is going in this week. I just need to work on the suspension so I can get the 60's down. Later Clint

Screw it, run the stock rear. If you are going that fast and it hasn't broke, might as well just keep going.

Besides, what's the rear going to be worth unbroken after it's been on a low 10-second car pull 1.5x 60's?? I wouldn't give ya crap for it. :) Might as well go for the gusto; maybe set some stock 10-bolt record.

It should be worth more money. It's proven and probably heat treated by now. I don't want to blowup the rear and end up taking out the tranny and maybe the motor too. I know it won't survivr the T-brake thats already installed in the tranny. Later

Oohhh yeah, that T-brake launch would do it in real good...lol

No doubt huh? You still running on the stock 10bolt WS Sick? You ever tried 3.42's with that 383? I would like to see a 383 LT1 with the 3.23's and a 150shot. I think it would be a low RPM torque monster and if it would hookup it would run killer ET's @ 600rpm shift points. Later

Good deal Clint, that car is really moving. We know a guy here that went 10.00s on his 10 bolt in a LS1 T350 dope car. After that dont the c-clips make it illegal any way? Plus if it breaks, just be out the hole, no harm, be good excercise pushing it back :)

Yeah, I would hate to tear up my car with that tiny rear. I have pushed my luck as far as I am wiiling too. I am looking for some c-clip eliminators for the F-body axles b/c the 8.8" still uses the factory F-body axle tubes and axles. I would like some 31 spline but don't know if they have them for 7.5". LMK if you know where they sell some. Later Clint
