soontobeGN 02-06-2005, 02:59 PM If anyone is interested in seeing the effects, before and after a delteq install on a car with a shot opti, I will be doing this install very soon(in the next week). Just let me know if you would be interested in either helping with the install, just seeing how the system works, or want to see before and after results. I am in Sicklerville in case it matters.
Tru2Chevy 02-07-2005, 10:08 AM If you want some help with the swap, try posting up on www.njfboa.org/forums
We have several members right in your town, and I know that a few of my buddies there are thinking about the same swap that you are.

Fastbird93 02-07-2005, 06:03 PM I'm game. When and where? I'm in sicklerville too.
soontobeGN 02-07-2005, 06:13 PM Fastbird, I dont know when, it will be within the week or possibly this weekend, whenever the system comes in. I am right off of Sicklerville Rd in Kenwood Condos, if your familiar with them.
soontobeGN 02-12-2005, 03:36 PM Fastbird, the Delteq just came in today, I will probably be doing the install early tomorrow morning if you want to check it out. I am planning on starting at about 8 in the morning because I have to work at 11.

Sorry about not seeing this sooner, but I was working on my own car all day today. How'd it go??
Where's the Kenwood Condo's??? Those aren't at the three way intersection of Chews Landing and Sicklerville Road are they (in between Williamstown road and Cross Keys road).
soontobeGN 02-13-2005, 01:02 AM Ya if you turn onto chews landing its right there on the right. I am going to install it tomorrow morning, didnt do it today. It looks to be pretty straightforward. Just some wiring harnesses, some nuts and bolts and a plug wire install. If your interested PM me ill give you my cell number.

Dude!! I can look out my house and see those. I'm in Parkside Mews, the townhouse complex to the immediate west of your condo's. I'm right off of Kali/Chews Landing and Sicklerville rd. Small world.
I can't help out today unfortunately. But let me know how it turns out! :thumb:
soontobeGN 02-13-2005, 02:35 PM Will do... I actually didnt get to it this morning, long night last night, so I am going to go at it after I get out of work at around 430. I'll let you know how it goes as soon as I am done, I am hoping I can get rid of this damn rich condition and backfiring problem.
Fastbird93 02-13-2005, 04:22 PM If that doesn't take care of it let me know. I've got a laptop and TTS Datamaster that I can load up and scan your car for ya. I'm off Monday and Tuesday, so just let me know.
soontobeGN 02-13-2005, 04:33 PM Will do, I have the laptop/datamaster combo also, but my laptop just bit it so I havent been able to get any datalogs. Thanks for the offer I may take you up on that if this continues.
soontobeGN 02-14-2005, 06:02 PM The install is complete, took about 2 and a half hours total only because of my mistakes(should have been about an hour and a half. It was very wasy and straightforward. I mislabeled my coils, which cause me to go crazy when I finished the install and the car cranked but wouldnt start. I was going crazy because the plugs were on the correctly labeled coils and cylinders. What happened was that I labeled the coils upside down so they were backwards. Fired right up when I fixed them and it is running better than ever. Still have an exhaust leak, but what can ya do.

soontobeGN 02-22-2005, 11:53 AM Thanks Jim, the system really is a top notch product, from the service to the instructions to the system itself.
On a side note, how much would it be from you for 8 NGK TR-6's. And do you sell that trick spark plug tool for our cars with the end cut out to fit over the plug?

It would be around $1.80 a plug. + shipping.
Thx Jim
