Hey All! New to this site

Hey everyone! I am new to CamaroZ28.com. I am a senior member over at ThirdGen.org. Just a little facts about myself:

Steve
Graphic Artist
Livonia, MI

Car:
1983 Trans Am
305 LG4 5.0L V8
Holley 650 cfm Carb
Edelbrock Performer Intake
100 shot of Nitrous
4.10 gears
Rebuilt 700R4 with Corvette Servo

Soon to be:
350 L98 5.7L V8
Vortec Ported Heads and Intake
Dynomax Headers
Plus all of the above

I am really interested in going to the track when I get my car up and running. Probably won't be this season but oh well. I have never gone before and I don't want to look like a complete jackass. I am also interested in meeting other F-body enthusiasts, especially 3rd genners, as I am anxious to learn more about my car and cars in general. Thanks everyone!

Steve

Welcome,
It's always nice to get another third genner in tha house. There are alot of great people here and it is a great source of information too. You will find plenty of people here willing to go to the track with you here also.I would'nt worry about looking like a jackass when you go to the track, everyone here had to start some where. My first time to the track was this year.It is alot of fun. Welcome and enjoy your stay.

James Coon

P.S. please don't hate me cause I have a Mustang too.LOL

Hmmm, another Steve... And a graphic artist! Good thing you're on the east side of the state or we'd have to compete and that'd suck. Where in Livonia are you from, when did you graduate high school? One of my best friends is from Livonia...

I have never gone before and I don't want to look like a complete jackass.
LOL... My advice for a track virgin: Listen to all the advice people give you about burnouts and staging and stuff, but also remember to stop at the end, don't end up sand dragging!

I have a 4th gen (as you might guess from my handle) but I'm hoping to get a 3rd gen and turn that into a totally streetable drag racing machine.

Again, welcome!!
