Thumbs up Dominion 32V 396 LT1 Project: New price, may part

I have lowered the price to $9000 for everything. And I may consider parting it out. The lower end would be a killer set up for anyone looking to make big HP, and the heads are, well, pretty dayum cool!

Take a gander and feel free to e mail me @ USROADWARRIOR@AOL.COM

Dominion 32V heads: Just the "old" name for Arao's 32V heads. Heads are completely assembled. In a "quicky" flow test of 1 intake port they flowed .343. This was on a Superflow bench @ Joe Prince racing.
Here are some picts of the heads:

Block: Block is a 96 LT1, bored .030 over w/ torque plates. It has been totally detailed and deburred. Deck plugs were installed before block was decked and squared. The lifter bores were modified to take a "standard" type roller lifter. The lifter valley was drilled for stand pipes. The block was heavily beefed up in the bottom end with 4 bolt splayed caps and a Nowak main stud girdle. And one of the "cool" features is a Bo Law's piston oiling system. It uses jets in the oil galley to direct a stream of oil to the underside of the pistons. The block was also modified for the pushrod configuration of the Dominion heads, and clearanced for the stroker crank. I put enough $ in this block for my machinist to put his 3 kids through college. Ivy league. And paid for his house. He is now retired...

Pistons: Lunati forged pistons w/ a -15 dish. These pistons gave a comp ratio of approx 9.2-1 in this engine.

Rods: Brand new 5.875 H beam Carrillo rods built to spec. I bought these because I was planning on some BIG DADDY h.p., and I didn't want to have to worry about a rod failure. These are beautiful, brand new in the box, and cost me over $1700 bucks.

Crank: 4340 forged 3.875 Lunati stroker crank

Cam and lifters: Lunati solid roller lifters, and a custom ground Cam Motion cam. I will have to dig up the card for the exact specs, as it has been a while since I looked at it. But the cam was custom ground to work w/ the Dominion heads, as the heads use a 1.4 ratio rocker

Headers: I have a really nice set of 2 in custom built headers, but it is pretty much a given that they would have to be modified for whatever chassis this engine would be going into. But they are a starting point

Misc: I have brand new cam, main, and rod bearings to go with this engine. And a set of Total Seal gapless rings. I also have a modified LT1 alt bracket and alt, from when this engine was in a 4th gen F body w/ the previous owner. I also have the pushrods and head bolts for the Dominion heads.

One question that will come up is what kind of manifold will fit. The heads are drilled for an LT1 or Lt4 intake. The prior owner was running a ported LT4. I was going to modify a carb intake like a Dart or such. Of course again it would depend of your plans for what this engine would be going into.

I have well over $11,000 into this engine project. As I stated above I paid $1700 for the rods, and at least a couple of grand for all the block work. And the last time I checked the Dominion/Arao 32V heads were going for over $6,000. If you could get him to deliver a set in a reasonable amount of time.

No time, no garage to work in, no more GM cars to put it in, decided I didn't want to put it in my AMX, don't have any local engine builders I trust.
I guess that sums it up

Hey Bob, do you have anymore info on the piston oiling system? Web site, write up, price, anything? I'm kinda intersted in it.

Oh yeah, TTT.

The oiling system was made by Bo Laws' Performance.
www.blp.com
But in looking at their site, I don't see it listed. Maybe I'm special and got one of the only ones, like the Dominion heads...lol
