I am looking for one and have found them both with locking tc and non-locking tc. I don't want a locking tc, so if I find one with locking tc, can I just put a non-locking tc in there and be done with it? Or is there something in the tranny that would mess with that?
Thanks,
Benji

i didnt think that a TH350 locked up at all, not even in third the converter still slips. if TH350 does lock up maybe someone but any overdrive kit on it? i might be worng though.

In the early 1980's, there was a TH350C (lockup version). It could be made into a non-lockup, if desired.

How? If you use a non-lock up converter with a lock up transmission, will it automatically take care of the problem?
