ive got a question - im looking at starting to mod my car, and its a daily driver, so i have focused primarily on cosmetic mods so far, as i havent decided what exactly i want to do powerplant-wise. anyhow, i have a 1999 ss, m6 and want to get new wheels and tires. i have done expansive searches about wheel sizes, offsets, backspacing and to be honest, my head is spinning. here are my options:

ZR1 replicas
17x9.5 - +56mm offset
17x11 - +50mm offset
275/40-17s and 315/35-17s

18x9.5 - +54mm offset
275/35-18s and 295/35-18s

Z06 replicas
complete set
18x9.5 - +56 or +50mm offset
275/35-18s and 295/35-18s

staggered
18x9.5 - +50mm offset
18x10.5 - +56mm or +36mm offset
same tire sizes as above

out of all these scenerios, which would be the best and would require the least amount of fabrication to the fenders and wheel wells??

thanks for all the help!!!

I like how the staggered Z06 wheels look on these cars.

You can make everything you listed there fit with the proper offset.

you could do a 19" and 20" staggard look....

If you want a daily driver and to prolong tire life through rotations, I would go with 18"s all around and meaty 275's. Thats wat I did and I love they way it looks... :D
