Cool...I got my black Z06's from the same guy on eBay this past summer...
BTW, just as a heads up, I had to get new longer wheel studs and use a 5/16th spacer to get mine to fit, using a 295 tire (2000 Trans Am)...the stock studs weren't long enough when using the spacer, so I got ARP studs which are longer and threaded all the way to the tip, whereas the stock studs are only threaded 80%

What tires are you going with?

Well I have some 335/30/18 michelin pilot sports in the backyard. My friend has some on his mustang (same size rim) and they don't bulge out at all, but if they don't work, I got the tires for free anyway :D and I can sell em and get some 315's.
The front's I haven't decided yet my friends little brother is getting me a discount on some fronts I was thinking either 275/30/18 or 285/30/18.

Where did you get the longer studs at and what length by the way Marco?

Too bad I didn't get em from you Zack :o

I got the ARP studs from thunder racing...they are 2.5" in length. Take a look at these two pics, the first one is my stock studs, the second is the ARP studs...don't mind my disgusting rotors, my new ones are going on in the spring...
http://img197.exs.cx/img197/1456/studs22xn.jpg
http://img197.exs.cx/img197/11/studs18ux.jpg

I didn't want to roll my fenders, so I was told to use the 5/16th spacer...but using the spacer, I couldn't get a single turn on the wrench with the stock studs...when I had the ARP studs installed, everything worked out great, there was plenty room for both the spacer and the wheel. One thing you should know- if you plan on using the ARP's and putting them on yourself, you don't have to take the axle off, like the shop told me I would have to- there is an ABS sensor on the back plate, and if you take that off, there should be enough room to push the old studs out and get the new ones in, although you may have to grind the tip of the studs down a little so that it can pass through. Hope this helps, good luck...

I sure will I'm sitting at home patiently right now :D

Thanks for the info Marco :thumb:

I'll probably end up using the BFH mod and rolling the fender lip anyway though. I just wish I already had a mig welder, I'd be mini tubbing my car right now :(

Well I got the back ones on but it's way too dark to take pictures. The fronts I'm waiting on the Toyo's to be shipped, they should be here Tuesday. I'll post up pics when it gets nicer or when I get the fronts which ever comes first. :D

and to everyone that said 335's wouldn't fit on a 10.5 inch rim :p HAHAHAHA!

No bulge the tires look like they were made for this rim

I'll make a new post later with pictures, Thanks for the info guys!

-Archie :D

EDIT: well I went and tried to take some more pics these turned out better, not great but better.
I had to edit the brightness and such so you could see the pics that's why the color is off. Also, I'm waiting on the center caps they will be here next week and off course I'll have to put undercoating in the wells again.

Yea I didn't either, the spacers I got didn't look too safe so until I find some that fit right I'm running without spacers or new studs.

What I mean is, I didn't NEED them, or have to have them. I guess b/c I got the 9.5, I dont know. But the co that put them on never said a word about studs or spacers.

Wel I thought I had the problem "hammered" out <--(stupid joke) :( But looks like I am gonna need a spacer I just barely cleared them but when the rear axle articulates it rubs the inner well. More money I'm gonna have to spend :o

Well it starte dout as being those motorsport ones I asked emailing the guy who was selling them. Then I asked if he by chance had them withut the rivets and he said yes. I was pretty surprised so I asked for pics and he sent them. I was going to get em from him until my friend Adam sent me a link to ones that were cheaper. I can't wait till they get here :D

You work at discount tires, right? Do they still carry the 18x9.5 black z06's because I couldn't finde them on the website? I like the replica alloy brand better than the motorsport's because the rivets look shinier.

You guys are the same place as the website www.discounttiredirect.com right? I can only find 18x10.5 on there now. I know they used to have 18x9.5 56mm a while ago.

Have you ever seen the Replica Alloy brand black z06's in person? What do you think about them?

Looks great!!! How's the quality and finish of the wheels? Are the rivets shiney or a dull metal finish? How do they fit on the car?

Looks great!!!

Thanks :D

How's the quality and finish of the wheels?

They are great finish is nice a glossy, be careful not to drop a lug lock key on them and put a nick in the paint like I did

Are the rivets shiney or a dull metal finish?

They are shiny/chrome looking

How do they fit on the car?

They fit great If I had 295's instead of 335's I probably wouldn't need spacers, which I have to take care of next.
