WRX insists he race My LS1

Well...I was humbly driving down the interstate yesterday minding my own beezwax .Jammin to some Godsmack with the cruise set when this annoying black WRX comes flying up beside me . I think to my self...Robb...let him go theres nothing to prove . Well him and his GF actually threw me a thumbs down . At this point I turn down the godsmack assuming position to put the smack down on this WRX . I got comfortable and he thrue his car down into a Lower gear as the engine screamed in mercy I kept cruising at 64 getting comfy with my hand on the shifter .
I turned off the cruise and he got a few cars back As he was preparing for the ricer fly bye . Well , I saw him coming , he had got a bunch of space and got on it. He got to my rear bumper doin everybit of 80 when I dropped the cammed TA into 3rd my car leaped and the tires started to break free somewhat . I left him like he was in a Tercel . It was ugly . ALmost as if I was racing a parked car :cool: So I slowed down and he came cruising up from about 7 cars back still in it from the previous ass whoopin I just put on him and I could hear his car Buzzzing twoards me , I thrue it back into third and Stomped it Bye the time I was a few seconds into fourth, he was again Very far behind me .
I wonder if he will go looking for trouble with another LS1 anytime soon ? His girl didnt look to happy . :D
Usually I refrain from this kinda stuff but there was a decent amount of open highway .
Also..LOL...one of my friends who is a member here " I will not mention his name becasue of he is embaraced " Has a stock 95Z and we where cruising thrue town adn a HUGE full size Chevy 4x4 ..Big tires and all comes cruising up beside him as we approach the stop light . He asked Brian " Wanna run " I told Brian " Go ahead and take this ignorant hilljack " Wel Brians Converter was slipping BADLY and his car had quite a bit of pep for a stock LT1 auto with such shutty gears .
Brian FLoored it and the guy had some kind of setup on it becasue for a truck of its size it was OUT...well brian had a pretty good lead on him bit the truck from hell was doing fairly well . Brians car went to shift to second and it slipped and revved out but wouldnt go into gear :lol: The guy was making fun of brians car and thought he had won that becasue he had a Superior vehicle. He didnt stick around long enough to hear the car had Mechanical problems he clearly thought he had a FAST ASS truck . His Chick was running her Jibs as they drove off past us and brian Just held his Gas to the floor in anger and asked I not repeat it to our friends .
To this day I have not let him live it down . I always ask " Are we takin the truck slayer today or my car ?" LOL....He fails to see the humor .
He still looks for that low 15 second truck whenever we go out for the weekend cruises .

Yeah...it did suck . But me and Brian both know his car could have taken the truck fairly easy had his converter not been failing . :mad:

happens all the time. mommy and daddy buy a wrx for a wealthy kids first car. kid buys exhaust and rims. maybe carbon fiber hood. o, and they've all got the skater beenies for their official race helmets. :cool: there was a chinese kid that used to go to my highschool that had a wrx his parents bought for him. i asked him how he got a 26k car brand new for his first car. he simply said that he tricked his parents into it by bragging the AWD for use of the snow (i live in indiana where snow is always present in winter). sounds like a good one to me.

It is here too . I live in the state next to yours :)..neighbor. We get snow here alot as well. :( My poor car dont like this kind of weather.

Kinda reminds me of the one time I tried racing in the rain. ;) I just let people pass me now, wot and they've still got great traction...

I think that's why this kid in town with a SRT tried taunting me to race in the rain. He already knew I wasnt going to go anywhere, needless to say, I made fun of him and sent him on his way.
