Yes, but many people are guessing that the next Z06 will be priced 10K or even 20K more than the base C6, putting it near the Viper in price.

2005 Dodge Viper MSRP is 81K, invoice is 74K.
2005 Corvette MSRP is 44K to 51K.
Add 10K and you're at 54K to 61K, add 20K and you're at 64K to 81K.

It depends on which rumors are true -- personally, I hope it's not too close to Viper price, that means it's sooner rather than later when I can afford a used one. Until then, headers and a 100 shot on my C5 will get me by :)
