Ok this is what I have. I have power windows on my trans am, and my drivers side wont roll up all the way. So I take the door panel off to look at it. Well what I see is that the window motor was pop riveted to the inside panel of the door. The inside panel thats made out of fiberglass. Well I guess whoever did this didnt rivet it tight enough and the force of the window going up and down caused the rivet to wear out the hole it was in and caused the whole assembly window and all to drop down about a half an inch.
So basically what I need to know is there any kind of filler(JB weld, Bondo, etc) that I can fill in an area about the size of a dime and still be strong enough to hold up the window and window motor? If your still confused maybe I can take some pics after work 2morrow.

When I replaced mine in my Z, they gave me nuts and bolts in the kit to replace the rivets that I drilled out. Best thing is to find some nuts and bolts and replace the rivets with them.

Repair it with a small fiberglass repair kit.

I think I am going to try the repair kit first. i wish I had pictures to show yall. I dont think the screws would work because it would still slide down the groove that it created. But Im going to play with it and see what happens. if I get stuck ill take some pics.
