What wheels do you like the best on 93-97 body style?

Hey everyone, I was just wanting everyones opinion on which wheels you like best on the 93-97 body styles cause im having a hard time deciding between these.

Z06 wheels hands down :bow: Im thinking of selling my custom made
18" rims for a set of Z06's :)

I'm partial to the TT2's ;) and have a growing interest in the simple but sweet zr1's.

worst part is that every body and their brother has those rims... I'm not one to talk, I have stock rims and I'm buying zr1's because they go well with my car's color scheme and because they're cheap.

Please get something aftermarket and be different. :)

I was gonna get some ccw's, simmons or Iforged. But I finally broke down and I'm gonna order Z06's, until I find the perfect aftermarket wheel :D . Having gunmetal 16" 5 stars is driving me nuts :o .

If you have money to throw around, get some fikse's or the ccw's

I know people always say, everyone has TT2's, but I don't have issues out where I live with that :)

i said ZR1s because they're simple yet look really nice in my opinion

Z06's are too wild in my opinion...i dont like my car to scream "i've been modified" :p

I voted for the ZO6's. I use to hate them but they grew on me and pretty soon i had to have a set. Everyone loves my ZO6's and they really catch your eye. I would either get some of those or the new ZO6R's or C6R's

I plan on getting ZR-1's on mine.

Can't go wrong with chrome ZR1's

C5 Magnesiums, but they have issues and are expensive. The simple look of ZR1's with a slightly more unique touch.

I like the TT2's alot and Z06's. ZR1's are nice but are too common. One problem with nice wheels in this area is getting your car jacked. I will probably go with whatever I can find for a good price. I also enjoy 10 spoke SS wheels.

Although your car is stock right now, I'd have to say save the money and spend it on performance mods. Catback/Cold Air/Headers. Nothing I cant stand more than a car thats all show and no go :rolleyes:

yea, I definitely agree with you. I'm not going to buy new wheels probably until this summers, I was just wanting everyones input b/c I like all those wheels. I'm definitely leaning more towards the Z06's as of now though.

I bought some new rims for my car because i like road racing and could use a bigger contact patch. Other than that, performance mods here we come! Then i will worry about swapping to a black leather interior.

**If you go with any wheels...id go to budnik or intro OR ask them to custom make a set for you...tell them what they want and most companies will do a one off set for you, or thats some experience of stories/pics ive seen.

I agree. My plan is to get a LS1 TA/Camaro (TA probably) as my next car. And I don't plan on doing anything to the apperance (hood maybe if it's non ram air) untill I have a exhaust, intake, and shifter (M6)

I just am doing minor mods on my car for the time being, because it's going to be a while before I get a new car. :(

i'm sorry but it's just like all the damn mustang drivers putting either cobra R's or bullet wheels or mach 1 wheels on their cars they are factory wheels for crying out loud get some aftermarket wheels while yes the car looks different to YOU! they look the same to me because i just saw 20 thousand other ones with those same wheels. go get some different wheels than the ones listed please for the love of god stop the i'm gonnna replace my factory wheels with factory wheels trend.

Yeah, I know... It seems like everyone and thier brother has ZR-1's or Z06's, heck TT II's and C5's are very common on fbodys too. But, I have Salad Shooters so they are even more common than ZR1's and I personally love the looks of the ZR1's. That's why I voted ZR-1's.

The reason people replace their parts with factory part is because usually the factory makes the best looking parts. People say the SS hood is over done, So far in the 2 yrs of having my SS hood, i've only seen 1 other Camaro in person with an SS hood that wasn't an SS. So they aren't that popular. The same goes with wheels. People say Z06's are on every fbody or C5 wheels are. I've never seen another Fbody in person in my area that has ZO6's on it. The same thing with Y2K vette wheels. Most Camaros in my area just have some cheap ass aftermarket eagle wheels or some other no name brand. The only wheel that i would say is played out is the ZR-1. At my college alone there are at least 7 fbodies with them. Just because you see the wheels being popular on here it doesn't mean they are out every where. There are a lot of stock fbodies running around and it seems almost everyone i run into doesn't mod there car.

I think maybe it's all an internet thing. All we see are pics worth posting for others to view. Those pics that standout to us are the ones with the best looking rims, the TT2's, the ZR1's, etc. I personally have not seen enough fbodies in both the places I've lived (NorCal and SoCal) with the same rims as me (TT2's) to make me not want to have them. :)

so you're saying we should go buy aftermarket rims that look just like factory rims. Kind of like your rims that look just like Y2K vette wheels. :rolleyes:

oh my wheels like like y2k because there a 5 star. sorry but no. mine the spokes don't go all the way to the outside of the wheel face unlike the y2k's which look hideous for that reason. mine the spokes are a lot more rounded. i say if you MUST get an oem wheel save the coin and get the magnesium wheels now those are dope and hardly any f-body has those wheels.

Does anyone have a website that has pics of our Camaros with the wheels listed in the poll on them?

I have some z06's and hence my vote. But now I like the z06R's even more. I have seen them in black with the rivets (and the lip I think as well) chromed. Sweet!

Oh and for the reply right above me, check out my sig...there are pics there.

ZR1's match our cars the best in my opinion. The Z06's can look good too, but don't blend as well as the ZR1's in my opinion.

In my neck of the woods, I've only seen one other Camaro in town with ZR-1s and that was a red LS1 car and she only had 9.5x17s all the way around. I like the simple, smooth five-spoke style. I'm not looking for bling, just better traction with the 11x17s though I get more comments about the ZR-1s than the Hella 90mm lights.

I must say the AT Italia's are sweet as hell.

Where the hell did you find that kind of deal on those wheels? I'm looking for some 17x11 ZR1's and can't find them for less than 450 - 500 for a pair!

go to ebay and type afs camaro polished or if you dont want polished just type afs camaro in the search engine. then just wait and find the ones you want. theres none on there right now. when i got mine i out bid someone by 5 dollars and 11 seconds. so its best to wait till the last second to place you bid
