Called NOS today

I asked them about the 5176 jetting since there is heavy conflict. They told me if i put a 42 tee in to add presure they said it would lock up injectors? No matter what lb injector. Is this correct? they said you could run the 72 njet and risk it lean, or u could run the n72 with the 42 tee and risk injectors. Any ideas? Think it would actualle lock up?

I have heard of stock 24lb injectors locking up but I doubt and after market with a higher rating would lock, sounds a little off :confused:

btw how long did you wait on hold listening to Holley advertisments??lol I hate calling them.

Not sure if the injector locks up or not. Why not convert over to a wet kit. Then no worries about injectors.

What I've read is that for every .002 change in the regulator tee, the fuel pressure is raised or lowered one PSI. So going from a .059 to a .042 tee in theory would raise the fuel pressure 8.5 PSI. Now I've also read quite a few posts (do a search) of guys running SVO or other Bosch pintle style injectors to 90 PSI no problems. Stock style injectors no matter their size would probably lock up in a heartbeat, but I would think a good Bosch pintle style injector should handle it.

And another thought, if a .042 tee would lock up any size injector as NOS states, then why would they even make a .042 tee if you couldn't safely run it with any injectors anyway? Just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.

Good call i shoulda asked them why they made that tee why i had them on the phone. And by the way i waited 15 secs long enuff for me to find what button to push. I thought a 59 tee pushed 85lbs. Hmm this is wild, im gonna call back and ask them what the point of the 42 tee is. On the comment of the wet kit, im gonna run both ;) I dont wanna run all wet due to puddleing of fuel in the intake, plus the injector is like a direct port. I wanna spray more than 175 so ill spray a wet and get like 300 combined. 300 is alot of fuel to be spraying in at one spot and making lets say 1-2 or 3-4 burn richer than the other cylinders. Any how i need to make this 5176 work b4 i get involed on the wet kit.

Any new comments or is that the best you can come up with? The questions are about dry topics you find this out when you read the post. If all you gonna say is "buy a wet kit" why post at all? Man chill :) . How did you get all that from a simple suggestion. I was joking, had an argument all day about that comment and probably should not have popped off. I am sorry you took it wrong. I only want to help nitrous uses dry and wet. Some like it dry and some like it wet. I was only suggesting a wet kit because it look like you were extremely upset about the tech you were getting from Holley.
And hey whats up with the hating on the tech tips. I have only two and they were not the same. I am not going to reply "get a wet kit" it is about finding solutions.
