None of the above.

M6 you should get a new shifter, skip shift eliminator and 4.10 gears.

A4 you should get 3500-4000 stall torque converter, tranny cooler and shift kit (SK is optional).

A4 or M6 I would definately do LT headers after the above mentioned mods.

Gears! M6-4.10, A4-3.73. You really must think about how you want to run your car first b/f you add a high stall conv.

Definitely LT's. I did 4.10's before that, but I really wanted some acceleration. Id say either gears or LT's. Cant go wron either way.
