Hey that sounds pretty sweet, but you never revved it! I mean thanks for posting, but we want to here it revved too as most people will be driving there cars as opposed to just letting it idle all the time. Anyways, no offense intended, and congrats on the sweet ride. HOw is the around town driveability on that thing? Is it less reliable with such a mean cam? Or would it still work as a daily driver? :bow:

I will have full impressions after two weeks.. when the car is broken in... exhaust is on... things of that nature.

Sorry for a idiot ?, but who makes that cam? It does sound alittle radical for the daily driver.

Their cams offer drivability like stock no matter how big you go. You ofcourse need gears, but aside from that and a nice tune theres not much else. I bet within a week I report that aside from the nice idle..that I won't be able to tell a difference in drivability.

Somehow I doubt you can have drivabiity like stock no matter how big you go, they might have good decent power down low but the bigger you go the more you will surge at part throttle and that aint stock, stock is like going 4mph in traffic in 1st and accelerating to 7mph and down without surging, big cams sound like that for a reason, you will surge because the crank is violently pulsing back and forth, its like my cam from Joe O', its awesome but in huge traffic it will surge many times, and while driving at very light part throttle, and that aint stock.

I consider "drive like stock" Your ability to control it without hassle. You can EASILY avoid those situations you were describing.. with no extra hassle. Now, if the cam was surging for no reason and there was nothing you could do about it, then that is a different story. As long as whatever the cam is doing is compensatable, without affecting your normal driving.. then THAT is driving like stock.
