Pics of Griffin Trans-Am intercooler on an LT1

Many people have been asking about this, so here are some pics. End tank was flipped around so they're both on the same side. It took some work, but it fits very well.

Yeah, the upper support beam was cut and then a thin bar was welded to fill the void. This allowed the radiator to be mounted vertically, occupying the space where that thick beam was. The lower shroud was redone as well for a better fit. Needed the additional room for the cogs and z8's blower brackets which space the blower 1/4" further out. Still using stock fans and I didn't want to change so I had to find the room elsewhere. Besides, more room in the engine bay is never bad in these cars, lol.

Why do you need two radiators?

Looks good. I mounted my radiator the same, except I moved the lower mount down a few inches and used an OTS AFCO.

My lower mount was repositioned as well, I believe it was slightly lowered too.
